You are invited to attend the Iowa Learns Community Forum to be held in Bettendorf at the Mississippi Bend AEA (729 21st Street) to begin at 7:00 p.m. and conclude at 8:30 p.m.
Governor Tom Vilsack and First Lady Christie Vilsack are convening a series of community forums to discuss the Iowa Learns Council recommendations. The purpose of these forums is for education administrators, teachers, parents, students and community leaders to have the opportunity to share their education concerns and accomplishments with the Governor and First Lady.
We hope that you will be able to attend and take advantage of this opportunity to listen to Governor Vilsack's education priorities and share your reactions. More information about the Iowa Learns Council and the recommendations can be found at http://www.state.ia.us/iowalearns/.
The Central Committee voted to skip the December meeting.
