Ted Kennedy Wants Some Answers
?The media is now finally starting to realize that the infamous "Downing Street Memo" is really worth reporting.  Many believe the memo - actually the minutes of a meeting between UK Prime Minister Tony Blair and his advisers - shows that George Bush decided to go to war in Iraq well before the invasion actually occurred.?

Lessons to be learned from history:Before you invade a sovereign      nation be certain that that nation attacked you and that they pose a serious      threat to your security.
Before you go to war make sure      you have clearly defined objectives and you have a clear idea when your      objectives are accomplished.
Before you go to war clearly      articulate the need to the American people and make sure that they see      great patriotism in supporting the war and see a clear purpose in      sacrificing the lives of their sons and daughters.
Before you go to war make sure      you have anticipated the strategy of your enemy.
Before you go to war make      thorough plans for supplying adequate numbers of armed forces trained for      the type of warfare you will encounter.
Before you go to war respect      the advice of world leaders and scholars and plan to accomplish your      mission by means other than war if possible

We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability. We don't need another 200-billion-dollar war to get rid of one strong-arm dictator. It's a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with."  (Pat Robertson - advocating the assassination of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.   Mr. Robertson is a good friend of the Bush family and a frequent spokesman for the Bush Administration.)
WHAT HAPPENED TO POOR GEORGE?
?Studies over many decades have proven that a strong command of the English language is directly related to career success.  Every day, people judge you by the words you use.  They make assumptions about your intelligence, your education and your capabilities.  Nothing makes a better impression than a solid mastery of the English language.
?Not having a strong command of language can be a serious handicap, an obstacle that prevents you from achieving your goals.  Someone who cannot express ideas eloquently, who hesitates because of uncertainty about the right word, can appear less than fully competent and qualified.?  (Verbal Advantage)
Could this be the reason that President Bush continues to alienate people and seems unable to reach consensus or to compromise on most of his program?  Maybe we should be thankful that he isn?t more persuasive in selling his ultra-conservative programs.
Iowa Republicans have consistently argued the importance of an English only law in Iowa.  WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF THE WHITE HOUSE ADOPTED AN ENGLISH ONLY REQUIREMENT?
I?ve been comparing the speeches of President Franklin Roosevelt and those of President George W. Bush and have come to the conclusion that these two Presidents spoke entirely different languages.  Both Presidents graduated from Ivy League Schools and were the sons of very wealthy aristocratic families.  What happened to poor George?
